The RESILIENCE Consortium is Expanding

Recently, a number of leading universities in Europe have joined RESILIENCE, strengthening its position as a European infrastructure.

Longterm Sustainability

Ensuring long-term sustainability is an important task for RESILIENCE in this preparatory phase (2022-2026). For example, the research infrastructure must be financially stable over many years and also organizationally, while alignment with national roadmaps and establishing meaningful contacts in the domain are another important task.

ITSERR

In this light, it is gratifying to mention that cooperation with the Italian project ITSERR, specializing in the intersection of Digital Humanities and Religious Studies, continues to take shape in a number of areas, including that of TNA fellowships. Recently ITSERR and more specifically five leading institutions from this consortium joined RESILIENCE as a TNA host, namely the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, University of Palermo, University “L’Orientale” Naples, University of Turin and the Italian National Research Council.

Dutch Universities

The Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Tilburg University joined RESILIENCE as observers. Discussions are currently underway to explore what concrete cooperation might look like. The expertise of both universities is expected to be a valuable addition to current and future offerings.

Cyprus

The joining of Saint Epiphanios” Cultural Academy – Institute of Studies, Research and Culture ensures representation of RESILIENCE in Cyprus and the wider region of the Eastern Mediterranean, allowing the use of the knowledge available on the study and promotion in these regions.
