ReIReSearch Adopted by RESILIENCE in its Service Catalogue

To ensure that this valuable service will not only remain accessible to researchers in Religious Studies but can also continue to expand, RESILIENCE will adopt ReIReSearch in its service catalogue. This guarantees the hosting and maintenance of the platform while also offering possibilities for the implementation of more functionalities and the inclusion of new collections.

High-Quality Access to Research Data on Religion

One of the main goals of RESILIENCE is to provide fast and high-quality access to research data on religion and to help achieve that goal, several Research-Enhancing Services are being planned by our consortium. For some services, RESILIENCE can build on work that has already been done before such as in the Horizon 2020 funded project ReIReS (2018-2021)  that preceded RESILIENCE.

ReIReSearch

ReIReS developed a platform called ReIReSearch, where disparate digital resources and databases relevant to Religious Studies are searchable in a unified and standardized way. Europe is home to countless collections of manuscripts, documents and rare books but to find the necessary research data from among all of these collections, scholars have to consult a host of separate databases and catalogues. To address the growing need of scholars to discover large sets of data easily and efficiently, ReIReSearch was designed to explore data from different providers on a single platform.
