You are invited to take part in the RESILIENCE sponsored PhD Forum at this year's annual conference of the European Academy of Religion.
PhD Forum 2024 in Palermo
The 2024 meeting aimed at discussing the future of the study of religion and the role of Doctoral Schools in this field, in the European context. It proved to be very fruitful and stimulating, and we agreed that further discussions and additional topics would have been raised for the future.
PhD Forum 2025 in Vienna
In 2025, as the EuARe conference is being hosted by the University of Vienna, EuARe took the opportunity to liaise with the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion, which encouraged EuARe to align with the attention they pay to their students, in terms of training, supervision and career development. Within the same conference, the Viennese School will also host an additional event specifically designed for PhD Students.
After the discussions, an additional moment of exchange is planned regarding the possibility to establish a more structured platform or alliance.
Abstract
Here you can download the abstract of a panel that invites contributions presenting practices in career development, research support and cooperation endeavours in European Doctoral Schools. Both established and young scholars are encouraged to bring in their perspectives and analyses.
