ITSERR’s Second Call for Applications for TNA Fellowships

ITSERR's call for applications for a TNA Fellowhips will be open between December 10th, 2024 and January 25th, 2025. Fellows will gain direct, fast and effective access to the collections and IT laboratories of the ITSERR partners in Italy, guided by experts in the fields.

About ITSERR

ITSERR is the Italian project aimed at enhancing the RESILIENCE Research Infrastructure, whose high interdisciplinarity is finalized to meet the evolving needs of the Religious Studies scientific community by enriching the diversity, the quality and innovation of the knowledge in this specific domain. The project is developed thanks to the collaboration between humanists (experts on History, Philology and Christian, Islamic and Jewish Studies) and IT engineers.

The main goal of the ITSERR TNA programme is to enable direct, fast and effective access, both physical and virtual, for scholars to remarkable collections, IT laboratories and expertise within ITSERR partner facilities.

ITSERR TNA Programme

Through its funded Transnational Access Programme ITSERR offers support and expertise for research stays at leading Italian Universities and research centers holding relevant collections within libraries and archives for Religious Studies together with outstanding IT laboratories for the increasing development of Digital Humanities.

The programme is funded by NextGenerationEU – National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, PNRR)  and it allows scholars or teams researching on Religious Studies to spend approximately from 1 week to 1 month at one of the ITSERR Italian nodes of the project and benefit from their facilities. The funded TNA for teams is a specific feature of ITSERR, as it gives the opportunity for a collaborative improvement of knowledge between research teams from different countries.

ITSERR TNA Hosts

Current ITSERR TNA hosts include Italian National Research Council (CNR) – Pisa, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UniMORE), University of Palermo (UniPA), University “L’Orientale” of Naples (UNIOR) and University of Turin (UniTO).
