After three days of meetings, the RESILIENCE team could go home with new insights, strengthened by the thought that RESILIENCE is on the right track towards becoming a sustainable research infrastructure.
The RESILIENCE team of directors, work package leaders, and work unit leaders spent an enjoyable three days at headquarters in Bologna. Two of these days were devoted to meetings with the Advisory Board, presenting the work done so far and receiving advice on how to make the preparatory phase towards an ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) even more successful.
Nearly all internal meetings of the teams are done online, but once again it proved to be very effective to meet in person, to sit together and to discuss developments, challenges and possibilities of alignment. Some other topics were the innovative character of RESILIENCE, new services to be offered to the community of researchers and the setting up and strengthening of national nodes.
The value of the Advisory Board, which was almost fully present, was evident. During the two full days the members of this board shared their expertise, insights, and practical advice, confirming that RESILIENCE is on track. The Advisory Board underlined the need for a research infrastructure serving the study of religion and encouraged RESILIENCE to broaden its network and to communicate present and future services.
