National and University Library of BiH
In the National and University Library of BiH collections, especially in the Old periodical and Special collections, the Library proudly preserves and makes available to use the rich cultural heritage of BiH, with some of these exhibits on display in the House of European History in Brussels.
National History Museum of BiH
Operating from 1888, the library of the National History Museum of BiH was the first scientific library in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today it is still organized as a special scientific library, with about 300,000 bundles of publications (books, magazines, newspapers), the material systematically collected for 129 years. The old collections of the Library acquired during the period of Austria-Hungary and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia are of a rare nature.
